Today I got to soak up lots of sunshine and I finally played tennis, hooray! The tennis courts were packed with eager players, it was awesome. I tried to go to the beach later but there were no parking spaces and it was just way too busy - no room to walk!
Alrighty, it's time for some sleeep. Oh, I tried homemade pizza baked on panini bread today - it was delicious! Lots of mushrooms and red onion, yum yum.
Sweet dreams!
Yay for a fun weekend! That Russian store with the chocolate sounds great - are the chocolates distinctly Russian? I love buying books on sale, too - Peter and I frequent library book sales in the summer so that by the summer's end, our bookshelves are groaning :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to play tennis! I've never been very good at tennis, but I like watching good players on the court. It's like a dance! Have a wonderful week!
Most of the chocolates are indeed distinctly Russian, and my parents actually remember them from decades ago! They also have very distinct packaging - different colourful drawings and interesting names. I was pleased to see that most of them contain dark chocolate, nuts, and less sugar than North American chocolates...they're health food really :) Maybe not :)
ReplyDeleteGroaning bookshelves, oh my! I love it :) The more books the better :)
Have you seen Roger Federer play? He's like a ballet dancer - so graceful, light on his feet, and effortless in his movements. It's a beautiful sight :) (He's also quite handsome he he.)
I have seen him play! I agree, he is gorgeous ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
